Hi, everybody.
Kristine and I have not be posting on this post for a very long time. We have been busy with life's everyday occurrences. Hopefully, that after I re-figure out how to use this blog again, I can get back to using it. Kristine and I are both are Stampin' Up! demonstrators now. Something we have totally enjoyed doing. So, I will be posting cards that I have made using Stampin' Up! products. If you wish to order any of the products from me, Hazel, you can go to www.stampinwithnana.stampinup.net and place an order.

Here are another set of cards I made for myself and my daughter in Alabama.
I got a little lazy on these. The top layer is made from 8 1/2 x 11 print paper. I cut the size I needed and glued it on top of white cardstock that was folded. I tend to make cards of different sizes. I make my own envelopes because I like to vary the sizes of the cards I make. Usually, I make "Thank You" cards using the standard A2 size since I have lots of A2 envelopes.
I fussy cut the angel (Unity Co.) and used pop-up glue dots on the angel. Then, I just stamped the card with a sympathy stamp (Unity Co.)

I believe the next set of cards were made using a Unity stamp. The corners were punched with a Stampin' Up corner punch. The top layer on each card is made with cardstock.
Birthday cards
After being missing in action for about 2 years, I decided Kristine and I really need to get back to what we like to do-crafting.
The "Birthday" cards below are a few of the cards I made about a month ago for myself and my daughter in Alabama.
The top layer for these cards were made from 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock. I used butterfly stamps and a mini flower stamp (company ?). I stamped the entire cardstock with the stamps. Then, I cut the cardstock into 4 parts. Next, I used Stampin' Spot ink pads from Stampin' Up. The embellishment was the "candy dots"

Missing in Action
Hi, to whoever read this. I know, I know, we both, Kristine and I, have been MIA for so long. We both have been rather busy this past year. I have been homeschooling 2 grandchildren, and one of Kristine's daughters had back surgery (the 12 year old). Neither one of us have had much time available to scrapbook nor make cards. But, we have not given up on those things we like to do, scrapbook, make cards, quilt, etc.. I have make a few cards, but have not posted what I have made. I, also, have done some scrapbooking, but that was done when I went to at least two retreats. It seems that is the only time I have be able to scrapbook any pictures. Since before Thanksgiving, I have been trying to find time to make a quilt for my son. I was hoping I would start on it and have it finished by Christmas, but that didn't happen. So, I am now looking at getting in done by the time his birthday rolls around in April. If and when I get it done, I will take a picture of it and post it here.
This was just information on why we have not been active on this blog, but if the good Lord is willing, I will find some time to start post my crafts.
Hazel, (one of the 2 pink ladies).

Whoa! I didn't realize that it has been at least a year since we have said or done anything to our blog! I apologize to anyone who has view our site in the past year. I will try my best to get back to this as soon as I relearn how to post pictures and etc. Kristine and I really need to keep up with our blog. I really do not have any logical excuse for not keeping it up to date.
Hopefully, we can get back to what we have started and not be so lazy!!!!

Costa Rica Vacation
Merry Christmas!!!
Hope everyone is ready for the holidays. Who has finished shopping for gifts? Not me. Got a late start this year. Usually, I'm way ahead. We had a trip the week after Thanksgiving and so that put me a little behind.
Well, I am about to start up the mixer. I make lots of candies for Christmas. I make Divinity, Glass candy, chocolate covered pretzels, Sugar cookies, Fudge, Peanut Brittle. I just came back from the grocery store and will start tonight. What kinds of candy/goodies do y'all make for Christmas. I would love to hear the different ideas people have.
Below are a few pictures from our vacation in Costa Rica.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Wood Floor Repair
Hi Everyone,
It has been waayyy too long! How is everyone doing today? We have been great, but busy. I think everyone stays busy these days. I am so glad yall have not forgotten about us. We love doing and making and creating all kinds of crafts. But every now and then we come across something that actually might help someone. For instance, I have been putting off working on my wood floors since Hurricane Ike stripped some of the stain off or when my kids scrap something across it and scratched it. Things like that. Well below, I have demonstrated, using a product from Lowes that I found and have been looking at for a while, but too scared to try it. It's made by Homax. Its a Wood Stain Marker Pen.

Neglecting Our Crafts
Ok, so Kristine and I have been AOL. Sorry! Starting back in July I have really been busy redoing a rent house with help from my children. I am still at it!! Also, I have neglected my craft room, poor thing. It has been more of a, "Where do I put this" kind of thing. Yep! It ends up going into the craft room. It had reached a point that I couldn't even get to my desk. So, the week before Easter, I had a brainstorm to rearrange that room. Over time I had collected Recollections storage shelves from Michael's. My DH put them together for me. I took everything out of the room and put the storage box/shelves in the room. I, then, realize that family was coming in for Easter, so I had to quickly put everything back in. It all looks a lot better, but the desk is still cluttered. As soon as I finish the rent house and the craft room, I will get back to posting cards, etc.
Kristine has been busy with selling AvoCare, running a dance studio, caring for 5 children, and looking for another part-time job. So, she, too, has been bogged down with life at the momemt. Hopefully, the both of us will get back soon to what we really like to do-scrapbook, make cards, quilt, etc.

Hey Yall,
Here is a quick video on some vinyl I needed to do for my dance studio. Everyone seems to think the door is locked and they keep pulling on it, just not hard enough. So I thought I would make a quick sign for the door. Maybe this will help them realize it is not closed or locked.
Enjoy,
Kristine

Here is a quick and easy goody bag I made using the Happily Ever After and Going Places Cartridges. This is a project I made for the family we are working for to help build them a house. We will be selling cookies in these bags to help raise more money.
Don't ya just love my "cookies"? LOL! I was just trying to make it look good. :)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some information my sister-in-law is passionate about. Below explains what this is about. We would so appreciate if you could take time to read through this. If you can, we would appreciate any donations sent to the address below to help with this family in need. Thank you so much.

Heritage Builders 1511 S Main St Lindale TX 75771 903-571-8001
To Whom It May Concern:
We have been made aware of a local Lindale family who has an urgent housing need. We recently visited this family’s home to attempt basic repairs and have determined that the home is beyond repair and poses a significant health and safety risk to this family of six. Some of the conditions we found in the home are no central heat or air, no working cooktop or oven, rotted flooring, and mold which we feel has led to a severe respiratory problem with the youngest child. Our main concern at this point is for the health and safety of this family of six. To repair this small home would not be cost effective. Our organization has begun a campaign to give a home to this hard working family who otherwise has no financial means of improving their current living conditions. We have designed a modest home and have asked all of our subcontractors who have been blessed with work during these hard economic times to donate their time, talents or materials to this project. In doing this, we will be able to construct this home for a fraction of the normal cost. We are now seeking the assistance of local organizations or individuals to help meet the remaining financial need of approximately $45,000.00. Our goal is to begin construction within 30 days.
Donations can be dropped off at either location:
Heritage Builders 1511 S Main St First Baptist Church Van St Attn: Lesa Bell
Please feel free to contact Bill Andreason @ 903-571-8001 0r Lesa Bell @ 903-920-6363 with any questions.
Thank you for your consideration of our request. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Bill Andreason Heritage Builders
If at all possible, so that we may plan our event better, please let us know your decision by December 31, 2011, if not donations will be accepted after the 31st.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
Hope everyone had a great & safe new years. We did. We had most of our family together with us. There are a couple who live outside the state so, they were not able to come celebrate with us.
Well, this is a new year. I am hoping it is a new year for us too on our blog. We are going to need to set a "resolution" for keeping our blog up to date more often. We just got so busy last year. We had family in hospital and it took a lot of time out of our crafting. But it's much better and we are all on the road to a great year.
I will try and post more videos and projects. My mom will fit in as she can. She and my dad are still working on that darn rent house. But they are almost done. YAY!
So, I hope to hear from you more often, as I post more videos and projects.
Have a great year everyone!

Christmas Cards
The top picture is one of the Christmas cards I made this year. I used the Cricut cartridge "Joy of the Seasons" and the embossing folder of snowflakes from Cuttlebug.
The bottom card is a modified version of a card I saw on Stephanie Lyn's blog, Under the Table and dreaming. These are my money gifts to grandchildren.

Random Act of Kindness
Here is my somewhat finished product of My Pink Stampers 12 Days of Christmas challenge. It's the top half of a goodie bag. You can put anything in it, like candy, cookies, chapstick, hand warmers, small gloves, even a small Bible. Attach this top to the bag you are putting things in. You can give it to the Salvation Army Bell ringers, passerbys, friends, family, even those people who are standing on the corner homeless. I hope today to get some celephane bags or I may even use ziplock bags.
Have a great day.
The 2 Pink Ladies
The red cardstock is 7x4 1/4
The green background is cut 2.5 x 4
the gloves were cut at 2 x 3 1/4
I used Cartridges: Jolly Holidays & Once Upon a Princess
