Hello everyone!
Thanks for visiting. I have been especially busy this week. I have several deadlines (I guess that's what I can call them) to meet. I have been working on some vinyl projects. I will try and post a few pictures of them on the blog. I want to get enough done first.
Also, I have been getting ready for a family reunion for this next weekend. I have been put in charge of the crafting. So, I have recruited my mom to help me out. She has been preparing a couple of make and takes for the girls to do while at the reunion. She has come over and has been cutting (and sometimes even talking to herself-haha) and organizing everything. I haven't been able to do much of that because I have been working so much on the vinyl projects. So to have her come over my house and help out, I do appreciate it.
Well, I will soon try and post some of my vinyl projects on the blog.
Hope to hear from you soon.

SCAL
Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share with you that I have purchased (a while back) the SCAL. I absolutely love it. I have been having so much fun playing with it. I have had a couple people wanting a video of how to get images off the internet to use with the SCAL. So, my next post will be a video on that information. I hope I didn't go too fast in the video but maybe it will get you started in the right direction.
I should have it up by this afternoon.
Thank you,
Kristine

Birthday Card
This is a card that I made using a stamp from Hobby Lobby.
How It's Done: I stamped the girl using a stamp I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I used Kodak Professional Colored Pencils to color the girl. I used a Fiskar punch and some flowers. Not sure what brand the flowers were. The butterfly was one I purchase at Creative Keepsakes Convention in Houston, TX. The words were stamped with Stampin' Up ink Passion Pink.
Thanks for looking!

Back to School Card
My youngest grandson is starting public school this year. I made a card and sent it to him. They funny thing is he is not starting first grade as I thought. He will be starting kindergarten. I sent the card anyway. It will be a memory for him of when Nana forgot what grade he was starting!!
Thanks for looking, Hazel.
How I did it: I used the Cricut to cut out the bus and dog. The students, the name on the bus, and the bulldog were all done on the computer. I stamped the students on computer paper and scanned them onto the computer. Then, I reduced them to the size that I needed. The name of the school was done using the computer. The bulldog came from clipart on the computer. I reduced it to the size that I needed.
Supplies used: Cricut Cartridges: Doodlecharms; Paper Puppies
Stamps: Bought at Hobby Lobby
Punches: Fiskars Round Punch
Paper: Card (Stampin' Up); Various scraps
Adhesives: Glue Glider; Zig 2-way pin glue

Hello everyone. Happy Saturday!! Just wanted to share yet another video with you. I showed my daughter how to make these paper flowers and she has just taken off with them. I decided to video tape her making them since they are a quick and easy flower to make. Hope you enjoy the video!
