How are y'all doing???
I have been busy! I wanted to make a new announcement to you! I have joined Stampin' Up! I am now a new demonstrator. Actually, I joined in May of this year, but I consider myself new still! I have a lot of learning to do still. But I am having a lot of fun learning!
So, I will soon be keeping up with posting here as well as my Stampin' Up blog too! If you would like you can check out that blog as well. It's Cricketscreativecorner.com. It is mostly for my Stampin' Up business. This blog is for everything.
I hope you can take some time to check it out. I will also post things about Stampin' Up here as well. I will share with you all that I am working on.
Keep checking back here. I know it's been a while since me and mom have posted up on this blog. We have been busy with life. As you all well know.
Thanks for stopping by!
Take care,
Kristine

Here are another set of cards I made for myself and my daughter in Alabama.
I got a little lazy on these. The top layer is made from 8 1/2 x 11 print paper. I cut the size I needed and glued it on top of white cardstock that was folded. I tend to make cards of different sizes. I make my own envelopes because I like to vary the sizes of the cards I make. Usually, I make "Thank You" cards using the standard A2 size since I have lots of A2 envelopes.
I fussy cut the angel (Unity Co.) and used pop-up glue dots on the angel. Then, I just stamped the card with a sympathy stamp (Unity Co.)

I believe the next set of cards were made using a Unity stamp. The corners were punched with a Stampin' Up corner punch. The top layer on each card is made with cardstock.
Birthday cards
After being missing in action for about 2 years, I decided Kristine and I really need to get back to what we like to do-crafting.
The "Birthday" cards below are a few of the cards I made about a month ago for myself and my daughter in Alabama.
The top layer for these cards were made from 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock. I used butterfly stamps and a mini flower stamp (company ?). I stamped the entire cardstock with the stamps. Then, I cut the cardstock into 4 parts. Next, I used Stampin' Spot ink pads from Stampin' Up. The embellishment was the "candy dots"

Missing in Action
Hi, to whoever read this. I know, I know, we both, Kristine and I, have been MIA for so long. We both have been rather busy this past year. I have been homeschooling 2 grandchildren, and one of Kristine's daughters had back surgery (the 12 year old). Neither one of us have had much time available to scrapbook nor make cards. But, we have not given up on those things we like to do, scrapbook, make cards, quilt, etc.. I have make a few cards, but have not posted what I have made. I, also, have done some scrapbooking, but that was done when I went to at least two retreats. It seems that is the only time I have be able to scrapbook any pictures. Since before Thanksgiving, I have been trying to find time to make a quilt for my son. I was hoping I would start on it and have it finished by Christmas, but that didn't happen. So, I am now looking at getting in done by the time his birthday rolls around in April. If and when I get it done, I will take a picture of it and post it here.
This was just information on why we have not been active on this blog, but if the good Lord is willing, I will find some time to start post my crafts.
Hazel, (one of the 2 pink ladies).

Whoa! I didn't realize that it has been at least a year since we have said or done anything to our blog! I apologize to anyone who has view our site in the past year. I will try my best to get back to this as soon as I relearn how to post pictures and etc. Kristine and I really need to keep up with our blog. I really do not have any logical excuse for not keeping it up to date.
Hopefully, we can get back to what we have started and not be so lazy!!!!

Costa Rica Vacation
Merry Christmas!!!
Hope everyone is ready for the holidays. Who has finished shopping for gifts? Not me. Got a late start this year. Usually, I'm way ahead. We had a trip the week after Thanksgiving and so that put me a little behind.
Well, I am about to start up the mixer. I make lots of candies for Christmas. I make Divinity, Glass candy, chocolate covered pretzels, Sugar cookies, Fudge, Peanut Brittle. I just came back from the grocery store and will start tonight. What kinds of candy/goodies do y'all make for Christmas. I would love to hear the different ideas people have.
Below are a few pictures from our vacation in Costa Rica.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Wood Floor Repair
Hi Everyone,
It has been waayyy too long! How is everyone doing today? We have been great, but busy. I think everyone stays busy these days. I am so glad yall have not forgotten about us. We love doing and making and creating all kinds of crafts. But every now and then we come across something that actually might help someone. For instance, I have been putting off working on my wood floors since Hurricane Ike stripped some of the stain off or when my kids scrap something across it and scratched it. Things like that. Well below, I have demonstrated, using a product from Lowes that I found and have been looking at for a while, but too scared to try it. It's made by Homax. Its a Wood Stain Marker Pen.
